Ok so I noticed that many steampunks have "character names" so while I'm not much for role-playing I still wanted an appropriate name.
So while registering for the Brass goggles [link] forum I decided I should decide on a name. After some deliberation I decided on Lorina C. Liddell, Alice's big sister.
So I got my Anna house dress (the brown one in my gallery). I plan on using it as part of a steampunk-lolita outfit but I need a lot more to complete it. The boots I've been coordinating with the dress probably aren't the best for a steampunk look but then again I'm not all that clear on what look I'm really since I want a strong lolita feel as well. So I guess I'm going for an alice sort of look, the explorer. I ordered earings with little cogs and keys on them. I really like the idea of keys and and locks.
I'd like to order some googles soon but the ones I liked are sold out. Really I should be after aviator goggles. I need a big belt to, one that I can turn into a tool belt would be nice. A cool bag would be a bonus too.
Dreams of course since I'm highly untalented in such a manner.
